Overview

The PLANET WSG-500 is a multi-function, all-in-one Wireless Hotspot Gateway for wireless public hotspot application. For hotspot service providers, the WSG-500 is the ideal integrated solution for rapid deployment of hotspot service with enhanced service performance.

The WSG-500 comprises built-in 802.11 b/g/n 2.4GHz Access Point with 2T2R MIMO technology to facilitate less dead-spot wireless service. It serves as a Web server for clients to easily login the hotspot wireless service. Designed with plug and play function, the WSG-500 hotspot service can be activated quickly. The WSG-500 also provides easy Logo-loading for branding a hotspot store, simple user/visitor account management tool, payment plans, PayPal credit card gateway, traffic logs, IP sharing and etc. By the WSG-500 co-working with the Account Generator, the WSG-ACG5, the multiple billing features give the mobile visitors flexible choices of the payment mode.

The WSG-500 brings hotspot service providers an extra advantage of flexible installation. It is packed in a wall-mountable, dust-proof (IP 50) metal housing. In addition, the WSG-500 is compatible with 802.3af PoE standard so that it can be powered through Ethernet cable and be installed anywhere to provide the optimal Wireless coverage of the installed site such as Cyber Café, Department Store, Hotel, Airport and any other public places.
